At Paris Perfume Week 2026, the French house Laurent Mazzone presented part of its collection, with a particular focus on its most recent creations. Having missed the previous edition of Pitti Fragranze, I was especially interested in discovering the fragrances launched over the past year—all the more so as I already own a few favorites from the house, which I consider must-haves, such as Chemise Blanche and the bestseller Sensual Orchid.
These two emblematic fragrances have, over time, given rise to more intense reinterpretations: Chemise Blanche Extrême and Pure Sensual Orchid. Denser, richer, and more concentrated versions of the originals, while maintaining great elegance, like slightly sweeter alternatives.
Gourmandise is very much in vogue today, and many are turning to rich compositions, on the border between pleasure and sensuality. Lineam offers a fragrance evoking caramelized popcorn, which, on my skin, proves to be particularly realistic, supported by warm nuances reminiscent of pastry and bread.
Lineam, beyond its caramelized popcorn and bread notes, develops a dense and enveloping warmth, with touches of rum and caramelized dried fruits. For lovers of this type of olfactory gourmandise, it is a particularly successful creation: intense, intoxicating, and deliciously opulent.
What I particularly appreciate about Laurent Mazzone's creations is their ability to address a wide variety of styles, while making each chosen universe irresistible. This is particularly true of Radikal Protea, a fragrance that immediately reminded me of a Bulgarian rose oil I own in a small bottle, presented in a wooden box decorated with floral motifs, typical of artisanal souvenirs.
Rose is generally not a note I appreciate when it is dominant or monotonous. Yet, Radikal Protea offers a soft, syrupy, and intoxicating rose, enriched with slightly metallic facets, supported by juicy fruity accords and velvety nuances, making it particularly pleasant to wear.
Grapefruit zest and the tartness of redcurrant, combined with geranium, sublimate the green and fresh facets of the rose, highlighting it and allowing it to express itself fully.
Finally, the very latest creation, Dulce Pear Extreme, previewed at Paris Perfume Week 2026, offers a different direction from the other fragrances mentioned: a seductive fruity composition from start to finish.
This new perfume is available from May 1st on the official Laurent Mazzone website, in a 100 ml extrait de parfum format, priced at €320.
This is my favorite among the new releases, because despite its fruity character, it opens with a warm, velvety sweetness, never childish or simplistic, but on the contrary delicate and universally seductive, designed to please both the wearer and those around them. Sweet, but not excessively so; fruity, without being heavy or overly gourmand. A creation designed to gently seduce, to envelop the skin in a creamy and powdery veil, and to flatter the senses.
The pear is combined with green apple, slightly sweetened to provide a refined sweetness, which blends harmoniously into a creamy floral heart, enriched with powdery nuances and velvety musks. The gourmandise is present, playful, but (on my skin) never excessive.
With this new version, the house sought to offer a richer and brighter interpretation, amplifying the fruity dimension with a sun-drenched pear and a crisp apple, adding an unexpected texture thanks to carrot seeds, and reinforcing the sensuality with a more enveloping musky base.
